Sharing My Experiences & Helping Truck Drivers Succeed
One of the thing that has always been a challenge for me is knowing what to say to someone who wants to know about me. It is something I’m not good at. I guess because I never really know what people want to know about me unless they are specific in their asking the question. What I’m going to do here is share with you the areas of my life that I think can help say something about me.
Where I come from.
When I meet people for the first time, after talking with me for a few minutes, they always want to know where I come from since they hear me speak with an accent. So, I guess you too would like to know. I’m originally from Uganda. A small country in East African. (I currently live in the USA)
I’m a Christian.
On July 21, 1996, I gave my life to Jesus Christ. If you are reading this and have never surrendered your life to Jesus, you may not know how big of a deal this is to me. This is a very important part of my identity. It dictates how I think and conduct myself. I’m not perfect, but I have and I’m still changing for the better.
I’m a husband.
I had been looking around for a beautiful woman to marry. In 2011 I came across a photo of a beautiful woman in one of my relative’s photo album on Facebook. On October 12th, 2013, I committed to love and be with that one woman for the rest of my life as long as we are both alive.
I’m a father.
We so enjoyed our honeymoon to the point that we got out first child. On July 20th, 2014, I became a father to a beautiful baby girl.
I’m a truck Driver.
After working in different industries, in July of 2006, I decided to get into the trucking industry as a truck driver. Something I had never thought of doing before. It has now been more than 10 years and I’m still driving trucks. It is the longest industry I have worked in.
